Another year has gone by in
St. George, NB and the Charlotte Coastal Region
Looking forward to the 8th Annual
Granite Town Wild Blueberry Festival 2016
August 17th to 21st
St. George - The Heart of Wild Blueberries, Salmon, and Seafood!
The Granite Town Wild Blueberry Festival celebrates St. George- A Community Strong as the “Home of the Big Blueberry.”
St. George, NB is the place where the Magaguadavic River meets the Bay of Fundy. Over the years, where the old meets the new, the culture and livelihood has evolved from granite, to shipbuilding, to lumbering, to where now it is the heart of wild blueberries, salmon and seafood.
Keep an eye on the updates!
The 2016 week-end, festival will highlight the local: wild blueberries, culinary, tasting, foodie activities, music, art, beauty pageant, antique car show, customer appreciation, farmers market, Community Church Service, fundraising events for a “Cause” - hoop-athon, ScotiaBank yard sale, Lazer Tag and New for 2016 - Blueberry Pie Contest and a Soap Box Derby and ending the festival with our "Light Parade of Memories" with a ceremony honouring Our Heros the First Responders, and Sunset Memories - a Floating Lantern Ceremony. Something for everyone!
